Barcelona

Today we walked down to the harbor and saw the Columbus monument, then made our way through the gothic quarter to Barcelona cathedral.

There were geese and goldfish in the cathedral courtyard.

Also stopped thru la boqueria, which is basically a giant indoor farmer's market-- you would have loved it. Lots of fresh seafood.

Finally toured casa Batllo, a topsy-turvy house designed by Gaudi.

We got caught in a huge crowd of protesters outside casa Batllo, so it was a struggle to get back to our hotel.

We had to make a trip after dinner to see the exterior of the casa Batllo since we didn't get a chance with all the protesters
